2. When these terms apply
These terms apply to every offer, order and agreement between Studio Salty Sun and you as a consumer via studiosaltysun.com. We may update these terms; the version in force when you place your order applies to that order.
3. Products and prices
We describe our products as accurately as we can. Colours may differ slightly depending on your screen. Where an item is delivered with a hygiene seal (swimwear and underwear), this is stated on the product page.
All prices are in euros and include VAT. Shipping costs are shown at checkout before you pay. The price at the time of your order applies. Obvious mistakes in price or description do not bind us.
4. Ordering
By clicking the order button at checkout you place an order with an obligation to pay. The agreement is concluded when we confirm your order by email. We may refuse or cancel an order, for example when an item turns out to be out of stock or payment fails; any amount already paid will then be refunded in full.
5. Payment
You pay at the time of ordering, using one of the payment methods shown at checkout [iDEAL, Bancontact, credit card, PayPal — confirm after activation]. Payments are processed securely by our payment provider; we do not store your full card details.
6. Shipping and delivery
We ship to the countries listed on our Shipping page, where you also find delivery times and costs. We deliver within 30 days of your order, unless agreed otherwise. If we cannot deliver on time, we will let you know, and you may then cancel your order free of charge.
The items are our responsibility until they have been delivered to you or to someone you designated.
7. Right of withdrawal (14 days)
You may cancel your order without giving a reason within 14 days after you received it. If your order arrives in separate parcels, the 14 days start when you receive the last one.
To cancel, let us know within that period: via the Withdraw from contract function on our website (no account needed), by email to info@studiosaltysun.com, or with the model withdrawal form below. You then return the items within 14 days.
The cost of returning the items is for your account. We refund the purchase price and the standard shipping costs within 14 days after you told us you are cancelling. We may wait until we have received the items back, or until you have shown proof that you sent them.
You may handle the items as you would in a shop. If an item has lost value because it was handled beyond what is needed to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning, we may deduct that loss in value from your refund.
Exceptions: the right of withdrawal does not apply to items made to your specifications, or to swimwear and underwear delivered with a hygiene seal once that seal has been removed or broken after delivery.

8. Conformity and warranty
We deliver products that meet the agreement and the descriptions on our website. If an item is faulty or not as described, let us know within a reasonable time after you discover this. You are then entitled to repair or replacement, or, if that is not possible, a price reduction or refund, in accordance with Dutch consumer law. In that case the return costs are on us.
Normal wear and tear and damage caused by improper use or by not following the care label are not covered.
9. Liability

Our liability is limited to the amount of the order concerned, except in case of intent or gross negligence on our part, and except where the law does not allow such a limitation. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer.
10. Complaints
Have a complaint? Email info@studiosaltysun.com, describing the issue as clearly as possible. We respond within 14 days; if we need more time, we let you know when you can expect an answer.

11. Privacy
How we handle your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
12. Applicable law and disputes
Dutch law applies to these terms and to every agreement with us. This does not affect any mandatory consumer protection of the country where you live. Disputes are submitted to the competent court as determined by law.
